Venessa Anderson is a veteran high school educator and emerging writer. She earned her MFA from Fairfield University and is a Connecticut Writing Project alumna. Venessa is seeking representation to publish her first novel entitled The Situation of Bina Fjallkonan – A modern saga of an unlikely Icelandic heroine. The story is historical fiction and explores the particular effects of the Icelandic historical period called the Ástandið.
When Venessa is not writing or grading papers, she is a busy mother of four amazing children.
Venessa has freelanced, dabbled in column writing, and written many a poem and short story.
