I’m Venessa, and I write.
I’m a mom, an educator, and a writer. After working with the Connecticut Writing Project, I decided to devote more time to my own writing craft and will earn my MFA in Fiction this January 2022. I’m currently revising my first novel about an Icelandic woman during the Allied Occupation of Iceland during World War II entitled A Situation. In addition to this novel, I have freelanced, dabbled in column writing, and written many a poem and short story. Now I’m trying a little blogging.
