Venessa Anderson is a veteran high school educator and emerging writer. She earned her MFA from Fairfield University and is a Connecticut Writing Project alumna. Venessa is seeking representation to publish her first novel entitled A Situation. The story is historical fiction and explores the particular effects of the Icelandic historical period called the Ástandið.
When Venessa is not writing or grading papers, she is a busy mother of four school-age children.
Venessa has freelanced, dabbled in column writing, and written many a poem and short story.
